Where We Come From
Festival of Christ was founded by The Baptizing Church and its founding pastor, Pastor Dele Osunmakinde in March 2020, but the church plant stalled after just one service due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Through the divine leading of the Lord, Pastor Dele Osumakinde tapped Pastor Femi & Mojisola Ojo to carry on the vision.
We relaunched in September 2021 with services from the home of our lead pastors, Femi & Mojisola Ojo. The inaugural service was held on Sunday 09 January 2022 at the Rockview Hotel FESTAC. In January 2023, we moved to our new location at the HUB 30 Coworking Space in FESTAC.
The Baptizing Church was founded in Abuja in 2005 by Pastor Dele & Morin Osunmakinde with just one family and a handful of students. The church has grown through the years to include multiple expressions across Nigeria and the UK. These expressions include TBC Abuja, TBC Kubwa, TBC Temple of Glory, The Sphere of Influence, Out of Zion, The PowerPoint Tribe & The Envoy Nation.
The national pastors for The Baptizing Church in Nigeria are Pastor Deji Kurunmi (PDK) and Pastor Debola Deji-Kurunmi (DDK).
