Getting Wealth

Growing a money tree system in your life, such that you are able to enjoy God’s financial resources in every season of your life, involves going through a process [life journey with God] and it takes time.
Our father of faith, Abraham in the course of his journey through life went through a process in order to obtain God’s blessing and financial resources, and also had to wait a long time.
4 Lessons from Abraham’s life on how to Get Wealth
1. True wealth is a product of a life with God
Genesis 12:1-3, 11:31 NLT
Action Plan: Patiently discover God’s calling for your life. Diligently do whatever work God gives you the skill and opportunity to do while you are waiting to hear God’s call.
2. God would require you to make life changes
Genesis 12:4-6 NLT
Action Plan: Listen for the life changes that God will instruct. Make the changes as the instructions come.
3. Mistakes do not disqualify you.
Genesis 12:10–20, 20:1-18 NLT
Action Plan: Be prepared for mistakes that you would make on the journey to getting wealth. Learn from your mistakes and don’t give up on God or His call over your life.
4. Sustaining wealth requires discernment and maturity
Genesis 13:8-11 NLT
Action Plan: Keep sharpening your ability to hear from God [prayers, scriptures, meditation & Holy Spirit]. Keep growing in your Christian journey.
2 Things You Need to Overcome
1. Fear
2 Timothy 1:7 NLT
Action Plan: Understand that fear is part of man’s falling nature. Keep growing in maturity in your walk with God.
2. Weakness
2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV
Action Plan: Identify your weakness(es) and intentionally [prayers, scriptures & Holy Spirit] seek God’s help in outgrowing them.
Final Note: True wealth is the product of a life with God in which you are making changes and adjustments as God instructs while overcoming fear and our weaknesses. You sustain this God-given wealth through discernment and maturity.
